Charlotte Ophthalmology Clinic Donating To The Community!
Charlotte Ophthalmology Clinic continues to give back to the community. Our entire staff joined together to donate food contributions to Loaves and Fishes. We had so many donations that we were able to fill an entire Toyota Forerunner!
We also were the proud sponsors of the Eye of the Tiger Self-Protection/Self Defense Seminar. Thirty-five very appreciative mothers and daughters attended the seminar. They learned to become more confident in dealing with situations that might threaten their safety!
We continue to donate an eye exam every day to patients of the Charlotte Community Health Clinic. These patients are less fortunate and uninsured and we are thrilled to provide our services free of charge. Some of these patients need cataract surgery or special laser treatments for glaucoma and those services are also donated to help improve their vision and quality of life!
Charlotte Ophthalmology Clinic is also a proud sponsor of Pinstripes, the ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease Foundation, as well as the Matthews Playhouse Theater. We also are happy to be a sponsor of the Peninsula Community Foundation who distribute the funds they raise to local charities including the Lake Norman Free Clinic, the Hope House, Hospice, the Ada Jenkins Center and others.
Charlotte Ophthalmology is proud to support and donate to the Cornelius Animal Shelter Alliance which is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the shelter as part of its Animal Wellness Program.
